Luna Moth

This is a picture of a luna moth that my dad found at my parents house. I was there when he found it which was really cool to see it in person. I was reading up a bit about them, and it turns out they don't have a mouth. They only live for about a week. They are also a member of the silkworm family. Apparently they are a rare sight, so it was a special treat to get to see this one.

Beautiful photo and wonderful that you were there to share it with your dad.

My first time by your blog I believe and I'm excited. I left a comment on your guestbook about your ticker tape purse pattern. I fell in love with the feel of the ticker tape some months ago and bought two balls. No pattern, of course you understand, well now I have one.
Thanks much.

Happy knitting and stepping (congrats on your competition)!
